STARWEEK Magazine StarWeek has historically been a valuable component of the Saturday Star, and to many readers it still is a big part of their Saturday Star experience. Weekly StarWeek readers are highly engaged with the product and find great utility in the television listings. Changing television viewing habits, particularly the recent growth in digital cable and on-screen program selection options, has resulted in some readers suggesting that StarWeek is less important than in the past. To address this issue, subscribers were given the option to request delivery of StarWeek as part of their Saturday Star package for an additional cost of $0.50 per week. Response was positive, with opt in rate reaching 25%, where research with subscribers indicated the rate would be 20%. StarWeek will continue to be included as part of the Saturday Star available for purchase in stores, newsstands and boxes.
